Mobile-money provider Wave Burkina has opened its 21st Premium agency in the town of Manga, adding a new customer service point to its growing network across Burkina Faso.
The inauguration took place on 18 September 2026 in Manga, the capital of the Nazinon region, and was attended by local authorities, business stakeholders and company partners, according to local business outlet Burkina 24 Affaires.
The new agency is part of Wave’s physical expansion strategy, complementing its digital financial services with in-person access for customers. Premium agencies can provide a point of contact for users who need assistance with mobile-money transactions and related services.
The report did not specify the investment value, staffing levels or the range of services available at the Manga branch. The opening nevertheless marks a further expansion of the company’s local presence and highlights the role of mobile financial service providers in extending access beyond major urban centres.
