TRIPOLI — Libya is strengthening its technology education sector after the Government of National Unity signed a cooperation agreement to launch the Samsung Innovation Campus in Libya.

The initiative aims to train 150 young people in advanced digital skills, helping prepare a new generation of technology professionals for Libya’s rapidly developing digital economy.

Technology experts say expanding practical digital training is essential for building a stronger national technology ecosystem. Programmes such as the Samsung Innovation Campus can help young people develop skills needed for careers in artificial intelligence, software development, data technologies, and other advanced digital fields.

The initiative also supports Libya’s broader digital transformation agenda, which includes efforts to expand technology infrastructure, strengthen innovation, and develop national expertise.
