HARARE — President Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged the ZANU-PF Women’s League to intensify grassroots mobilisation and political education as the ruling party works to strengthen its connection with communities across Zimbabwe.

Addressing a national meeting of the party’s Women’s League in Harare, Mnangagwa described the organisation as a key part of ZANU-PF’s grassroots political machinery and called for greater efforts to explain party policies and decisions to members.

The President also emphasised the importance of educating members on constitutional and legal issues, placing political awareness at the centre of the organisation’s mobilisation strategy.

The latest directive is expected to increase the role of the Women’s League in community outreach, policy communication, and grassroots engagement.
