CONAKRY, Guinea — Guinean activist and teacher Bella Bah has reportedly gone missing after allegedly being taken from his school in Conakry on August 8, according to his wife and a witness cited by AFP.
His wife, Ami Bah, said the family has received no information about his whereabouts since the reported incident. A witness reportedly told AFP that men in uniform arrived at the school and took Bella Bah away.
The circumstances surrounding the disappearance remain unclear. Guinean authorities have not officially confirmed that Bella Bah was arrested or disclosed where he may be held.
