Four people have died and another person has been injured following a collision involving a Toyota Voxy and a MAN Diesel trailer at Anyinasin Junction on the Accra–Kumasi Highway.

The crash occurred early on Monday, 28 September 2026. The Ghana National Fire Service said it received a distress call at 5:21 a.m. and arrived at the scene 14 minutes later with a seven-member crew.

Firefighters worked to free people trapped in the wreckage and assist with traffic movement. One male occupant was rescued and taken to Kibi Government Hospital for medical attention. Four others—three men and one woman—were confirmed dead at the scene.

The Toyota Voxy was completely damaged, while the trailer sustained damage to its front section. The scene was later handed over to the police, and the circumstances leading to the collision remain under investigation.
