Algeria’s Ministry of Health has announced changes to the pedagogical entry schedule for the 2026–2027 academic year covering national institutes of paramedical higher education, midwifery programmes and paramedical training institutes.
According to an official correspondence issued by the ministry under reference number 1369, new entry dates have been established for several categories of students and trainees in public health institutions.
The revised schedule sets Sunday, September 13, 2026, as the entry date for education teachers in public health.
Meanwhile, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, has been designated as the entry date for several groups. These include midwifery students from all years, anaesthesia students in public health, paramedical students from all years and second-year paramedical assistant students.
For first-year nursing assistant students in public health, the ministry has scheduled the start of entry for Sunday, October 25, 2026.
The updated calendar is intended to organise the start of training and educational activities across Algeria’s public health and paramedical institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Students and trainees affected by the changes are advised to follow instructions from their respective institutions regarding registration, attendance and the start of educational activities.
