A 39-year-old man has died after being attacked by four security dogs along a footpath in Southerton, Harare, on Thursday evening, according to a Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) statement reported on Friday.

Police identified the man as Malcom Takudzwa Muzavazi. The attack reportedly took place between 6pm and 6:30pm on 24 September 2026.
