DJIBOUTI CITY, Djibouti — Djibouti has launched a new national digital employment platform as part of efforts to modernize employment services and improve connections between workers and businesses.

The platform, called “Djibouti Emploi,” was presented on August 24 to Minister of Labour, Formalisation and Social Protection Yonis Ali Guedi and senior ministry officials.

The new system is expected to provide a centralized digital space for employment-related services, potentially making it easier for job seekers to access opportunities and employers to identify candidates.

The launch comes as Djibouti accelerates the digitalization of public administration and seeks to improve services for citizens and businesses.

The employment platform could become an important digital tool for connecting Djibouti’s workforce with emerging opportunities across the national economy.

The initiative also highlights the growing role of technology in modernizing government services and supporting employment formalization.
