RABAT — Morocco is accelerating its investment drive after approving a major package of projects valued at nearly MAD 42 billion, strengthening the country's business expansion and job creation agenda.
The approved investments cover a wide range of sectors, including tourism, chemicals, agri-food, port infrastructure, aerospace, logistics, telecommunications, renewable energy, and waste recovery.
Business analysts say the investment package highlights Morocco's growing appeal as a regional destination for industrial and strategic investment. The projects are expected to support thousands of direct and indirect jobs while expanding production capacity and strengthening local value chains.
The investment program also spreads development across multiple regions, creating new opportunities for businesses outside the country's largest commercial centers and supporting broader economic diversification.
Industry experts believe continued investment in manufacturing, logistics, clean energy, and technology-driven sectors will strengthen Morocco's competitiveness and attract additional domestic and international investors.
The latest investment push reinforces Morocco's strategy of combining industrial development, job creation, and private-sector expansion to support long-term economic growth.
