LUANDA — Angola's private sector is gaining new opportunities for investment and international partnerships as the 41st Feira Internacional de Luanda (FILDA 2026) brings together companies from Angola and international markets.

The annual business platform features more than 1,400 companies from 18 countries, highlighting growing interest in Angola's production capacity, services, investment opportunities and expanding commercial ecosystem.

Organisers are positioning FILDA 2026 as a key platform for connecting Angolan producers with international buyers and investors. This year's focus on producing and innovating locally reflects Angola's broader drive to diversify the economy and increase the competitiveness of domestic businesses.

The event is also showcasing opportunities in manufacturing, agriculture, services, technology and other non-oil sectors, giving smaller companies opportunities to build partnerships and reach new customers.

Business analysts say stronger links between local producers, investors and international markets could help increase non-oil exports, stimulate private-sector investment and create new employment opportunities.

The participation of international companies also provides Angolan businesses with opportunities to develop supply-chain partnerships and learn from foreign firms operating in competitive global markets.

FILDA 2026 is therefore emerging as more than a trade exhibition, with its business networking potential supporting Angola's wider ambition to build a more diversified and internationally competitive economy.
